Frequently Asked Questions

1. Who are you? What do you do? What are you offering?
We are the interior design studio Sulaiman Design Studio. The head of the studio is designer Ramziddin Sulaiman. We offer our services for the development of interior design.

2. How long has the firm existed?
The studio has existed since 2015.

3. What are your most famous projects?
perfume shop Elisium;
cafe LOOOK;
hotel design in Tashkent and Samarkand;
shop Kalekim.

4. How long will it take to create a design project?
Deadlines are very individual. They depend on the size and complexity of the object, as well as on how quickly and smoothly the customer and the designer find solutions and agree on options. In general, according to our experience, it takes about one months to design a small apartment; in the case of a private house, the project stage may take about two months. However, everything is discussed: if for some reason the customer needs to finish the object in a very short time, we will find a way to adjust to the desired schedule.

5. Do you do architecture, landscape design, web pages, business cards, signage, shop windows?
We are engaged in interior design, as well as architecture, furniture design. We are not engaged in landscape design, but we have designers and architects with whom we cooperate and can recommend them to you. We are not engaged in web design, printing design and advertising, as well as the design of shop windows and exhibition stands.

6. Do you conclude a contract?
Yes, we have a standard contract for the development of the architecture of a building or a design project for a room. A sample of the contract is sent to you upon request - by e-mail or regular mail.

7. Is it possible to work on a facility that is not in Tashkent?
Yes, we can work with an object that is outside of Tashkent, such work is called remote. We have experience of similar projects in Uzbekistan. On the conditions of such work it is better to talk in more detail with the head of the studio.

8. Which suppliers and manufacturers do you cooperate with?
We work with leading suppliers in Tashkent, for example with Kalekim, Mudo concept, Oikos, and many others.

9. Do you have your own team of builders?
We basically do not work with our builders, as this allows us to remain on the side of the customer in all conflict or controversial situations. During repair and construction works, such situations occur quite often (with respect to the additional amount of work or alterations), and we prefer to defend the interests of our client. Designers working in partnership with the construction team often defend the interests of their business partners, possibly to the detriment of the client's interests.

10. Do you paint walls?
No, but we cooperate with several firms and private artists who can perform similar works on ours or on their sketches.

11. Do you do furniture on an individual project?
We develop custom-made furniture for both interior design projects and separately. Also, if necessary, we carry out an order right up to its implementation - we contact with the manufacturer, send drawings, coordinate materials and colors with the customer, select accessories.

12. Do you decorate furniture, lamps?
In rare cases, we do it ourselves, but most often we prefer to entrust our partners.

13. What is author's supervision and why is it needed?
Architectural supervision designer carries out with the customer, controlling the compliance of the construction work with the design project. This will require several trips to the site. At the same time, the designer is not responsible for the quality of the construction work performed, but only for their compliance with the project. However, when a designer detects any defect or poor quality of work, the designer will certainly notify the customer.

14. Are visualizations included in the project cost?
Yes, in our studio visualization are included in the total cost of the project. However, if you think that you do not need them, you can refuse this service - accordingly, with a decrease in the total cost of the project.

15. And what if I still do not like what happened in the end?
It just can't be. Our work is organized in such a way as to fully embody the wishes of the client and his ideas about the perfect interior. To this end, in the first stage of work, the fullest possible information about the customer’s taste and wishes is collected. After that, the client at all stages controls the ideas of the designer, in fact, working with him in a pair. No idea or solution with which the customer disagrees will be introduced into the project or even more so realized. On all controversial issues, discussions are held, an option is developed that suits the client.
